2010 Tennessee Titans: NFL Schedules, Predictions and Odds

The Tennessee Titans were the top seed in the AFC in 2008 only to fall flat on their face out of the gate last year and miss the playoffs. The Titans will be looking to return to the post season and have a solid shot to get off on the right foot with an opening game on the 2010 NFL schedule at home against the Oakland Raiders on September 12th. It gets much tougher on September 19th when the Titans host the Pittsburgh Steelers, one of the NFL betting favorites to win the AFC conference. The Titans will then travel to New York to take on a Giants team also looking for a comeback season on September 26th. Online sportsbooks have the Titans 30-1 longshots in 2011 Super Bowl odds to win the championship, 14-1 to win the AFC conference and have an over/under regular season win total of 8.5 UNDER (-125).

Tennessee returns home for the 3rd time in 4 weeks as they will host the Denver Broncos on October 3rd. Tennessee opens the second quarter of the

Oakland Raiders Tickets – Cable Reportedly Staying

The sources coming out of the Oakland Raiders are saying that the search for the Raiders next head coach is over and the man of choice is Tom Cable, who took over midway through the 2008 season as the Raiders interim head coach. Oakland Owner Al Davis fired head coach Lane Kiffin partway through the 2008 season after the Raiders got off to a rough start. The Raiders have also chose to bolster other parts of their game by naming Paul Hackett as their new quarterbacks coach and Dwaine Board to coach the defensive line. Fans can be there to cheer on the new coaching staff with Oakland Raiders tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/oakland-raiders-tickets/.

Cable is no stranger to the NFL or coaching. He was a standout guard at Idaho before spending one season playing in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts. He became a graduate assistant at his alma mater in 1987, and he stayed for two seasons. He took the same role with San Diego State for a year before

Super Bowl: Ticketnest

Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League ( NFL ) in professional American football. It is played in the United States.

On January 15, 1967, the first game was played as the AFL-NFL World Championship Game. It was the game played between NFL championship team and the American Football League (AFL) for the “World Championship of Professional Football”. In 1970, both leagues were merged and the Super Bowl became the NFL’s championship game. Since then, the game has been played annually on a Sunday following the playoffs. Originally it was played early to mid-January, then late January, and in 2002, the first Sunday in February.

The Super Bowl has become one of the most popular and the most profitable broadcast of the year for US television. It earned millions of dollars in the form of T.V commercials. This has caused the starting time of the game to be pushed back later and later, to ensure the Sunday night

Video of The Kansas City Chiefs scoring a touchdown on the San Diego Chargers on 10-25-09. Touchdown pass from Matt Cassel to Dwayne Bowe. Sadly it was the only points put on the board by the Chiefs that day. San Diego Chargers won 37-7. Footage taken from Arrowhead Stadium, 26 rows up on the 50 yard line facing the away team bench.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Top 10 Teams in 2009 NFL Power Rankings Week 11

As per my prediction the Ravens defeat the Browns on Monday Night. These 2009 NFL power rankings for week 11 might change if the Monday Night Football game between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns result reverses. Its almost Fantastic NFL in the regular season.

Top Team 10th:  Baltimore Ravens (5-4)
The Baltimore Ravens reenter the top ten at #10 this week. This is assuming that they defeat the Cleveland Browns on Monday night and will be modified if the Browns win. As the Ravens are 5-4, they recently defeated the Denver Broncos 30-7. This gives them the advantage for the final power ranking spot for this week.

The Ravens will play the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers in the following weeks. Don’t expect them to hold their spot in these power rankings for long; the Ravens have struggled against stronger competition in 2009..

Top Team  9: San Diego

Nfl Films To Celebrate The 50Th Anniversary Of The Afl

Airing every Wednesday at 8:00pm eastern, the programming gives insight to the unique brand of football and the originality of the AFL member clubs. Footage of the AFL is courtesy of NFL Films, which chronicled and documented the league from 1960-1969.
What most people don’t realize is that the AFL helped change the way all sports are played. You see before Michael Jordan was sticking his tongue out while gliding through the air, before Tiger Woods fist pump when sinking the winning putt, before all the touchdown dances seen in every football game today. There was no celebration after a big moment it was considered disrespectful to your opponent because sports were considered a gentlemen’s game.
That all changed with the birth of the AFL. The AFL started when league founder Lamar Hunt, was turned down by the NFL when he tried to purchase an NFL team. Distraught over not being able to purchase a team while flying on a plane the idea hit him. Through lots

NFL Tickets – Niners, Bucs Add OCs

Two who have recently had to make head coaching choices, the San Francisco 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have also solidified their offensive coordinator position. The Niners’ new offensive coordinator will be Jimmy Raye, and the Bucs have chosen Jeff Jagodzinski. The Niners recently declared that interim head coach Mike Singletary will continue to lead the team for the 2009 season, leading to Singletary letting go some coaches, replacing them with those who agreed with this ideals. Singletary is a Hall of Famer who made headlines for his tough coaching style his first week on the job as head coach. The Bucs promoted Raheem Morris to head coach during the offseason, and they are not trying to fill holes left by departures. Be there for the start of the season with NFL tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/nfl-tickets.

Raye is a longtime player and coach of the game and ironically started his NFL coaching career with the Niners. He was a quarterback

Denver Broncos Tickets- Broncos Add Another Fullback

The Denver Broncos seemed to have a curse on their backfield this season as they have fallen one by one until the roster was all but depleted. In order to have in a chance at a running game, the Broncos have been searching around the league for unsigned backs. They added another with fullback Andrew Pinnock, a free agent who was released by San Diego earlier this year. This comes after Michael Pittman, Andrew Hall and Ryan Torain have all been placed on injured reserve and Selvin Young is out with a groin tear. It is not yet clear where Pinnock will fit on the depth chart. Currently, Peyton Hillis has the starting spot and is backed up by Spencer Larsen.

Pinnock sent his college years at South Carolina, where he had 422 carries for 1,852 yards and 27 touchdowns. The stats led to interest from the San Diego Chargers, who picked up Pinnock in the seventh round of the 2003 draft as the 229th pick overall. That first year, he played all 16 games on punt
